Lagos State Primary Health Care Board
VISION: To develop a sustainable primary Health care system where disease burden is reduced to the barest minimum and quality of life is enhanced.
MISSION: To provide universal coverage of quantitative, effective and efficient primary health care centres.
CORE VALUES: To implement Lagos State Primary Health Care, policy through community participation, inter sectoral collaboration, utilization of appropriate technology and development of human resources for health integrated service, provision and supply of essential drugs and comprehensive monitoring and evaluation.
In its determination to ease the pressure on the Secondary and Tertiary health care facilities, Lagos State Government is resuscitating the hitherto moribund primary health care delivery system. It is therefore fortifying the Primary Health Care facilities across the state such that they could be able to meet the yearnings of the people for adequate medical attention.
